With cheers of “U-S-A…U-S-A…” ringing in his ears, American freestyle mogulist Bryon Wilson of Park City, Utah, laid down a near perfect run yesterday at the Men’s Moguls Olympic Final at Whistler, British Colombia.

Bryon began his run with a huge “back double full”—that’s a laid-out back flip with two full twists—and then pounded the moguls in the middle section. Wilson threw in a “D-spin”—a diagonally twisting flip on the bottom jump earning him the highest marks in the field for his aerials (one quarter of the overall score). Half a minute of adrenaline-pumping skiing—the culmination of over a decade of training and sacrifice. When all was said and done, Bryon had won himself an Olympic medal, sharing the podium with Canada’s own Alexandre Bolideau and Australia’s Dale Begg-Smith.

Bryon Wilson, 21 years old, was born and raised in Butte, Montana, and moved to Park City to train. Without some of the resources that some of the other competitors on the freestyle skiing circuit have, the Wilsons, including Bryon’s younger brother and fellow freestyle skier, Brad, have made their way on the hard work and sacrifice of their parents and the generosity of their sponsors.

Agel is proud to have sponsored Bryon Wilson with a financial contribution and helped him on his Olympic Journey.

Agel is committed to helping people live their dreams through increased physical health and activity and financial freedom.
